The former governor has lost his 47-year-old wife, Nnenna Agnes Nnamani, to the cold hands of death. According to a statement by the former governor on behalf of Nwankwo Anike Nnamani family of Amaiyi, Amakpu Agbani,in Nkanu West local government area, it was made known that the former first lady died on September 4, in Orlando, Florida, United States, after complications from sickle cell disease and cerebral aneurysm.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Enugu yesterday by Nnamani’s media aide, Mr. Dan Nwomeh, the Ebeano patriarch thanks all and sundry for their support and prayers, while further burial arrangements will announced by family.
Just recently, the former governor was ordered to forfeit his assets worth billions of dollars to the federal government.
