Sequel to the massive success, radio airplay on all radio stations, and general acceptance of Solidstar’s hit single; ‘Baby Jollof’, the video that was shot for it has been nominated for this year’s Hip-Hop World Awards popularly known as ‘The Headies’, in the category for Best Music Video.
Shot in Satellite Town by talented director; Clarence Peters of Capital Dream Pictures and featuring Tiwa Savage, the video has since become a fan’s favorite and till date remains one of the most frequently played music videos on both terrestrial and cable TV channels all over Nigeria.
Solidstar is also in contention at the 10th Headies for the Best Reggae/Dancehall Single awards with a nomination for his hit song; ‘My Body’ which featured Timaya.
Solidstar’s ‘My Body’ is nominated in the category alongside songs by other notable artistes after an eventful past one year which saw the massive success of his works.
