He enjoyed a fruitful month in which he scored five goals including crucial strikes against Norwich and Sunderland. He beat Mesut Ozil, Marko Arnautovic, Riyad Mahrez, Romelu Lukaku and Dele Alli to the award.
His coach, Quique Sanchez Flores was also acknowledged as the coach of the month.
