Prince William and Kate have reportedly enjoyed a visit to a luxury five star hotel once home to Napoleon III as part of their summer holiday in France.
The royal couple are in south west France with their two children George, three, and Charlotte, one, after touching down at Pau-Pyrenees airport last week in the Duke of Westminster’s £8 million private jet .
French newspaper Sud Ouest reported they enjoyed a night at the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz which was once the summer palace of 19th century Emperor Napoleon III and his wife Eugenie de Montijo.
