This is very great news! The Federal government has confirmed its willingness to settle the outstanding allowances that is being owed the Super Falcons in the next two days.
This comes only after the Nigeria’s National Women’s Football Team, Super Falcons had staged a protest earlier today in front of the National Assembly over their unpaid allowances.
They have been at loggerheads with NFF and the Ministry of Sports over their unpaid allowances after they won the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations some weeks ago.
President Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, has now reassured the protesting players that monies owed to them would be paid in two days time.
