As at December 2016, a Doctor who owns three hospitals in one of the states in Nigeria, if not the most lucrative state, then it will be the second best state in the country could not afford to pay her staff at the three hospitals. The least of her staff at the three hospitals, located in different parts of the state earns N40,000. But the income generated from the three hospitals as at December 2016, was only N40,000. And that could only pay a staff. How will she pay others? This has been on for few months though, before December, but December was the most terrible. She saw her own downfall right before her eyes.
