Vice President Osinbajo Will Sign The 2017 Budget – PRESIDENCY

The Nigerian Presidency has affirmed that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will assent to the 2017 Budget recently passed by the NationalAssembly when it is transmitted to him and he is satisfied with the details.

Laolu Akande, spokesman of Acting President Yemi Osinbajo said this on Friday in reaction to reports that the presidency is confused about who would assent to the budget in Buhari’s absence.

“Just so we are clear: when the time comes, everything is set, & he is satisfied, Ag. President YemiOsinbajo will assent to the 2017 Budget,” Akande tweeted on Wednesday evening.
