Photos: Kogi First Lady Offers Assistance To Abandoned Wife With Triplets

The wife of the Kogi State Governor, Mrs. Rashida Yahaya Bello has offered assistance to Mrs. Mikailu, who was reportedly abandoned by her husband after she gave birth to triplets.

Her Excellency empowered Mikailu through her non-governmental organisation, Kogi Women and Youth Advancement Foundation whose aim is to provide for the needs of vulnerable women and children in Kogi State.

Mrs. Bello in her statement said, though, it was unfortunate that the father of the triplets ran away, KOWYAF had provided the basic needs for the children and would empower the mother to fend for herself.
