Photos of a 28-year-old woman dressed in a white wedding dress has gone viral after she was spotted on the street carrying a placard advertising for a husband.
The woman identified only as Nyambura was spotted on Nairobi’s Tom Mboya Street in Kenya on Tuesday morning armed with a placard while holding the hands of a girl she said is her daughter.
The message on the placard read:
“Need for a husband Pris [sic]. Nyambura 28 years. I have a girl child”.
Nyambura left a number for prospective suitors to reach her on mobile number 0737350766, but to the surprise of suitors who dialled the number, the line was busy.

Some found her desperate move interesting and saluted her bravery. One comment read:
“I wholly salute that lady’s courage! Hope fate gets her a good husband! A challenge 2 all single & hurting ladies out there! Rise up ,” ‘@silva_kaz’ said.
Others expressed censure on Twitter that she exposed her child and shouldn’t have let the little girl be part of her advert.
