Update! Rooney Banned From Driving For Two Years

Wayne Rooney has been banned from driving for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work after pleading guilty to drink-driving.

He was given a 12-month community order as he was sentenced at Stockport Magistrates' Court this morning.

A judge told him a significant fine would have no punitive effect, and the court heard he has been fined two weeks' salary by Everton. Lesson learnt the hard way?
