Violence Erupts In Jos

Reports today indicate that there is an ongoing ethnic clash between Hausa and Igbos in Jos, the Plateau State capital.

 According to residents in the area, several people have been injured along Rwang Pam Street and Ahmadu Bello Way, areas that are said to be dominated by Igbos.

Police and other security officials have, however, arrived to calm the situation.
