Wizkid Emerge ‘The Young Person of the Year’ At The Future Awards Africa 2017

Wizkid, one of Africa’s biggest artistes yesterday emerged winner at The Future Awards Africa 2017. Davido aslo won big at the event.

With both artistes consistently competing for major global awards with their record-shattering albums and sold-out shows within the year, Davido was announced as the ‘Musician of the Year’, while Wizkid emerged ‘The Young Person of the Year’.

The Future Awards Africa acknowledges inspiring young Nigerians making a difference through creativity social enterprise and social good. The event took place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
