Fire Breaks Out At UK's 2nd Largest Oil Refinery

A fire has broken out in a manufacturing building at Stanlow oil refinery this afternoon.

Firefighters are at the scene of the incident, which is sending huge plumes of smoke over Ellesmere Port.

“There was a report of a large plume of black smoke. We have several pumps at the scene,” a spokeswoman for the Cheshire fire service said. It's UK's 2nd largest oil refinery.
