Nigeria Defeats Seychelles 3-0

The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated host Seychelles in a 2019 AFCON qualifying encounter this afternoon.

Ahmed Musa opened scoring early in the game before FC Porto’s Chidozie Awaziem added the second from a rebound before Odion Ighalo made it three from the spot.

This was the first-ever meeting between the Pirates and the Super Eagles. Their return game in Nigeria is set for the weekend of March 22-24.

The win gave Nigeria her first three points in the qualifying campaign after losing 2-0 to South Africa in the first game. Big congrats to Nigeria.
