No NYSC: APC Disqualifies Shittu From Governorship Primaries

The All Progressives Congress has disqualified the Minister of Communication, Barrister Adebayo Shittu and his Women Affairs counterpart, Aisha Jummai Alhassan from participating at this weekend’s governorship primaries of the party.

While the party said Barrister Shittu was disqualified for not presenting his NYSC discharge certificate, no reason was given for the disqualification of the Minister for Women Affairs popularly known as Mama Taraba.

Four others were disqualified from participating in the exercise while 166 other aspirants were cleared to participate, with one withdrawing from the contest.
