Orange Is The New Black Creator Jenji Kohan Files For Divorce From Husband After 21-Year Marriage

Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan has cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce filing from writer Christopher Noxon.

The 49-year-old Los Angeles native, who also created the shows Weeds and GLOW, tied the knot in 1997 and have three children: daughter Eliza, and sons Charlie and Oscar.

Kohan and Noxon did not have a prenuptial agreement at the time they exchanged vows, TMZ reported Tuesday. Noxon, via his lawyer has asked for spousal support, while Kohan's lawyer Laura Wasser has sought to deny the request.

The Emmy Award-winning writer and producer filed the divorce papers and Noxon, whose sister is Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Marti Noxon, issued his response simultaneously, which the outlet reported is a signal that the split is an amicable one.
