Oyo workers begin indefinite strike

Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) yesterday directed all public workers in the state to begin strike “with immediate effect”.

The industrial came barely six days to the end of Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s administration in the state.

A memo dispatched yesterday evening to workers by the secretary of the NLC in the state, Mohamed Ibrahim, stated that the strike would be in force until further notice.
