University Of Uyo bans use of wristwatches in examination halls

A statement circulating on social media dated May 20 and signed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) Prof. Enoidem Usoro of University of Uyo says students of the university will no longer be allowed to wear wrist watches into examination halls beginning from the 1st semester of 2018/2019 Examinations.

The statement has been shared many times on social media with many asking why.
