EFCC operatives storm ex-governor Abdulaziz Yari’s home in Zamfara State (photo)

The country home of former governor Abdulaziz Yari was raided Sunday night by 20 operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The EFCC has not officially given the reason for the raid in Talata Marafa, about 100km from Gusau, the capital of Zamfara.

EFCC operatives spent about five hours in the house, according to a report by Daily Nigerian. It is not clear yet if they got anything incriminating as the governor and his family were not in the building. // <\/s'+'cript>'); // --> //]]> From ICE
