People urged to 'stay away' after 60ft starving whale washes up on British beach

Coastguards have warned people to stay away from a starving 60ft ‘razorback’ whale that washed up on a British beach.

The beast was found stranded on the rocks at Cornwall’s Nare Point Friday afternoon.

Officials from the British Divers Marine Life Rescue pronounced it dead at 3:45pm.

The charity’s Julia Cable said experts had identified it as a Fin Whale – the second largest mammal on earth.

The hulking sea creatures are also known as herring whale or razorback whale. But for safety reasons they want people to stay off the beach for now.
