Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has on Tuesday, November 10 presented 2021 budget estimates to the State House of Assembly for approval.
Governor Sanwo-Olu presented budget of N1.155 trillion titled, “Budget of Rekindled Hope” at Lagos State House of Assembly Chambers in Alausa, Ikeja.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, made this known in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

He earlier said the budget session is expected to focus on advancing the state’s T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda – Traffic Management and Transportation; Health and Environment; Education and Technology; Making Lagos a 21st Century state; Security and Governance.
The Commissioner added the budget will focus on infrastructure, health, education and other critical sectors of the economy and the social life.

Through the executive bill, Governor Babajide
has announced his intention to ANNUL the Public Office Holder “Payment of Pension Law 2007”, which provides for payment of pension & other entitlements to former Governors and their Deputies.
