Modupe ‘Moe’ Odele, an #EndSARS protest frontliner, has retrieved her passport from Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday, 9 days after it was initially seized.
Odele, better known as Mochievous on social media, was prevented from traveling outside Nigeria on November 1 to celebrate her 31st birthday.

She was to board a plane going to the Maldives when Immigration officials stopped her at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport airport and seized her passport.
This sparked an outcry on social media, as many Nigerians accused the Federal Government of witch-hunting protesters especially frontliners and placing them on travel ban.

Odele was actively involved in the #EndSARS campaign by arranging and offering legal aid to persons who were arrested during demonstrations in different states in the country.
Few days later, spokesman of NIS, Sunday James in a statement denied the allegations of working in line with a travel ban list, saying the passport was seized as part of a routine border assignment.

In latest development, Odele, in a tweet on Monday, November 9, has now revealed that she has been handed her travel passport and was told she can travel out of the country whenever she pleases.
She tweeted;
