Niger state governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has recovered from COVID-19 8 days after announcing he tested positive.
On November 9, the Governor via his Twitter handle announced he had contracted the virus and was going into isolation for treatment.

Giving an update via his Twitter handle on Monday night, Governor Bello disclosed that he has recovered from the virus and thanked everyone for their prayers.
He tweeted;
I am delighted to inform you that I have recovered from #COVID19. I thank you all for the prayers and kind wishes during this period.
