Media personality, Toke Makinwa has slammed Reno Omokri, former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, for shaming divorced women in a social media post.
On Monday, November 23, Reno shared throwback photos of former first lady, late Mrs Maryam Babangida on his Twitter handle, praising her for her beauty.
He then threw jabs at “divorced women” by saying the media should project her more as one of the most beautiful woman in the world than “youths ‘stunning’ photos of bleached divorcee slay queens, with surgically enhanced bodies”.

In reaction to this, Makinwa, who is a divorcee, in a series of tweets posted via her Twitter page on Tuesday, November 24, took a swipe at Omokri.

Describing Reno as an “embarrassment”, the media personality pointed out that being divorced is nothing to shame anyone about.
She wrote;
Wow, at your age? Your wife and kids must be cringing for you, such an embarrassment. “Divorced” is nothing to shame anyone for, life happens.
