The death of the celebrated rapper came as a rude shock to many of his fans and also considered to be a major loss for the music industry.
However, in the past year, his fans, friends, family, and loved ones have made sure to carry on his memory with his posthumous album, Legends Never Die that was released in October as well as various songs from other artists recorded in his honor.
One of such songs which features posthumous vocals of Juice WRLD was released today by The Kid Laroi titled “Reminds Me Of You”, a cover of 2020 single “Reminds Me” by Petras.
The rapper made the announcement via his Instagram page with the caption;
Thank you for everything bro. without you there would be no me. I love and miss you unconditionally.

Speaking about his relationship with Juice WRLD in an interview with Apple Music’s New Music Daily show sometime in July, Laroi stated;
When I first came to L.A., I was living with him for the first three months, before I moved my family out here and stuff like that. I was living with him, his girlfriend and all his friends. So, I guess over that time, especially, we got a lot of time to bond and kick it or whatever. We were around the house every day.
And things like being in the studio, even when we weren’t recording together, he would be in the studio obviously every day recording fucking a million songs. And I would go in there and just watch him and watch how he was doing shit.
Following his death, Juice WRLD earned the biggest debut sales week for his posthumous album and was US Spotify’s #1 artist in 2020.
His single “Lucid Dreams” is one of the most streamed songs of all time, with over 2 billion in the US alone.
As today marks the one-year anniversary since his passing, fans around the world have taken to social media to remember him.
Many fans took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter today to pay tribute to him him, some quoting lyrics of his songs.
