American actor, Jamie Foxx paid tribute to his beloved sister, DeOndra Dixon on World Down Syndrome Day on Sunday, five months after her tragic death at 36.
The Oscar-winning actor, 53, expressed his love for DeOndra, who had Down Syndrome, in a heartbreaking Instagram post, accompanied by a beautiful photo of his sibling.

Sharing the photo which showed Dixon smiling for the camera while clad in a beautiful purple dress, Foxx wrote;

Dixon was born to Louise Annette Dixon and George Dixon — Foxx’s mother and stepfather respectively — in Dallas, Texas, in 1984.
He later started participating in Special Olympics in sixth grade and had aspirations of becoming a professional dancer.
In 2011, she was named an ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.
