Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has on Saturday, April 9 suspended its strike, 10 days after it began.
Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi, president of the association, confirmed the development to newsmen on Saturday evening.

The decision to suspend the strike comes after the signing of a new agreement with the Federal Government, concerning issues raised in NARD’s 13-point demand.
He said;
We suspended the strike about one hour ago. We are responsible to Nigerians, the government has acceded to some demands.
