Rapper, Akumefule Chukwu-Emeka, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has declared monogamy to him is unrealistic and admitted to being unable of staying faithful in romantic relationships.
The 25-year-old rapper, who is signed to signed to 100 Crowns, an imprint of Chocolate City, made the statement in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV’s Rubbing Minds show which was broadcast on Monday.
When the host asked questions about him getting married, he expressed;
I can get married but first everyone needs to know that I cannot be exclusive. Monogamy for me is unrealistic, I cannot be exclusive. Even if I marry, I will be a polygamous man. The truth is I don’t lie about it, I’m not going to pretend to a girl and say ‘you’re the only one I care for’. I like it right away, thank God my album is titled ‘sex over love’, it is clear, everybody now knows this is this guy’s message.
When asked how many women he intends on marrying, Blaqbonez said he plans to oust King Solomon of the bible.
Additionally, when asked if he has been with any lover willing to accommodate his views, the rapper who is also known as Emeka The Stallion responded in the negative, saying;
Every time I tell them, they try to fix me. They think it’s a phrase. One thing I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt – no matter what, I will cheat. Every guy I know is cheating.
Speaking further in the interview, the rapper when asked if he thought he is the best rapper in Nigeria, he said;
Right now, I am. Judging by how my album is right now, I don’t think there’s any rapper right now that is dominating the charts like that.
On April 30, BlaqBonez debut his 14-track album, “Sex Over Love,” which featured the likes of Tiwa Savage, Nasty C, Joeboy, Amaarae, Buju, Cheque, PsychoYP, 1da Banton, Laycon and Bad Boy Timz.
The album is this first body of work since “Mr. Boombastic” (2019), which debuted at #1 on Apple Music’s top album chart. It also follows his previous work, “Bad Boy Blaq” (2018) and “Bad Boy Blaq Re-Up” (2019).
