Will Smith Gets Teased After Wife, Jada Shares Never-Seen-Before Poem From Late Friend, Tupac On Posthumous 50th Birthday

Will Smith Gets Teased After Wife, Jada Shares Never-Seen-Before Poem From Late Friend, Tupac On Posthumous 50th BirthdayLate American rapper, Tupac Shakur would have turned 50 on Wednesday, June 16 and as usual, tributes have been pouring in on social media but one particular post has made actor, Will Smith the center of teasing and trolling online.

The actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith posted a poem the late Hip-Hop legend wrote specifically for her when he was still alive.

The duo grew up together and had been very close friends for many years before the untimely death of the rapper.

Jada and Tupac — who was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1997 when he was 25-year-old – met on the first day of high school in Baltimore, according to People, and remained close until she walked away from the friendship when she felt his life was getting too dangerous.

However, many social users are convinced that Will Smith must be quite insecure whenever he realizes the type of bond she used to have with Tupac and the sort of love and respect she still has for her late friend.

So, many took to their platforms to tease the actor over the undying affection his wife has for the late legend.

Pinkett in her Instagram post where she shared the poem titled ‘Lost Soulz’, said;

I went down memory lane over the years. Pac wrote me many letters and many poems and I don’t think this one has ever been published, honestly.

He had a song called ‘Lost Souls’ on the Gang Related soundtrack but I believe this was the original concept because he wrote this, I believe, when he was at Rikers [Island]. And I was like, I don’t think he would have minded that I share this with you guys.

Jada and TuPac were estranged at the time of their death, and she addressed this “complex relationship” in a 2019 episode of Red Table Talk, saying; “We were an anchor for each other.

As 2Pac and Will Smith started to trend on Twitter, people couldn’t help but offer the blockbuster movie star their support and sympathy due to his wife’s unwavering devotion to 2Pac.

Despite rumours of a romantic relationship between the two, Pinkett has on numerous occasions said their friendship was strictly platonic, acknowledging that they had an exceptionally special relationship.

However, with the recent post, social media users have once again made Will Smith the center of conversation, as some claim the actor is subjected to humiliation every time Jada speaks glowingly about TuPac.

Will Smith himself had in time psst admitted that he was envious of the relationship of Jada and TuPac. Speaking to Charlamagne Tha God in January 2020, Smith was asked if he ever got jealous of their strong connection and he replied;

Fuck yeah. Oh my god. And that was in the early days. That was a big regret because I could never open up to interact with Pac.

[Me and Tupac] had a little bit of a thing because [Tupac and Jada] grew up together, and they loved each other, but they never had a sexual relationship. But, they had come into that age where now that was a possibility, and then Jada was with me.

He added;

Pac had a little thing on that, but she just loved him. Like, he was the image of perfection, but she was with The Fresh Prince. We were in the room a couple times together, I couldn’t speak to him and he wasn’t going to speak to me if I don’t speak to him. I couldn’t handle it. I was this soft rapper from Philly and he was Pac. I was deeply, deeply insecure, and I wasn’t man enough to handle that relationship.
