Nigerian recording artiste, Folarin Falana who is better known as Falz has stated in a Twitter post that he will not be voting for leaders who put the country “into unending chaos” in the coming 2023 presidential election.
The renowned musician who is also popular for speaking against societal injustice was reacting to the campaign video shared by the speaker of the House of Representative, Olufemi Hakeem Gbajabiamila.
In the campaign video shared on Twitter, Gbajabiamila was admonishing Nigerians to vote the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu into power.

The speaker listed several qualities possessed by the APC presidential candidate amongst other reasons.
Reacting to the video, the singer-songwriter, Falz in the opening part of his statement on the social media platform, he wrote, “My answer is NO”
He went further to write that he will not be voting for leaders who participated in the “killing of their own people”.

In the latter part of his statement, Falz surreptitiously mocked Tinubu‘s mantra, “It’s my turn” which translates to “Emilokan”.

The 2023 Nigerian presidential election will be held on 25 February 2023 to elect the president and vice president of Nigeria.
