Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said Nigerians are going through excruciating pains under the Federal Government-led All Progressives Congress, describing such as unacceptable.
This was as Obi challenged Nigerians to hold him responsible if his administration failed to impact positively on their lives and the economy of the nation.

Obi stated this during his campaign rally at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium in Abakaliki, the state capital.
Obi emphasised that his administration would ensure policies that would favour the youths and women in the country.
He added,
I am contesting this election as an Igbo man who is most qualified. People want to be president, but they have not told you who they are. I will change this country; hold me responsible. This is a great country and there’s no reason we are to be suffering. We don’t want those who are stealing our money.
We want to take care of mama, papa and pikin. Hold me responsible; let’s build a new Nigeria. My government will be for the youth and women. It will be for mama, papa and pikin.
