Multitalented artiste Burna Boy has been nominated alongside fellow industry mates in the just released Headies 2015 nominations list, a reflection of the music review for the year running through July 2014 to June 2015.
The artiste, who is currently working on his second studio album, is nominated in the BEST REGGAE/DANCEHALL SINGLE category for his song “Check and Balance”. The category credits artistes with the best delivery on a Reggae/Dancehall single in the year under review, as performed by a single individual or group. Burna Boy shares his nomination spot with artistes like Cynthia Morgan, Patoranking and Solid Star.
This is not the first HEADIES nomination for Burna Boy; he was nominated in 2013 in the NEXT RATED category alongside artistes Phyno and Seyi Shay as well as in 2014 in two categories HIP HOP WORLD REVELATION and ALBUM OF THE YEAR for his album L.I.F.E. Burna Boy is currently working on his album, and preparing to headline the Hennessy Artistry Afro Fusion concert at the end of October 2015.
