There were two things wrong with Meghan Markle's wedding day look, Kate Middleton's go-to designer has claimed.
Emilia Wickstead claims the gown created especially for Meghan and Harry's big day is exactly the same as a £7,000 one in her collection.
The Givenchy gown , designed by Clare Waight Keller was kept under wraps for months and reportedly required several secret meetings.
Dashing across London in a baseball cap or beanie, Meghan and Clare ran a covert operation in the lead up to the big day.
But now Emilia has made some extraordinary claims about the dress - that was rumoured to cost between £200,000 and £387,000.
She said: "Her dress is identical to one of our dresses.
"Apparently a lot of commentators were saying 'It's an Emilia Wickstead dress.'"
But that wasn't the only thing she slated - as she laid into the fit of the dress and even Meghan's hair on the day.
She told the Daily Mail: "If you choose a simple design the fit should be perfect. Her wedding dress was quite loose."
Moving onto her hair, she said: "I was like 'Hold the wisps (of her hair) back. It's a Royal Wedding for God's sake.'"
Meghan, the now Duchess of Sussex, looked stunning on her wedding day last Saturday.
She accompanied her dress with a 16ft-veil detailed with flowers from all 53 countries in the British commonwealth and the Queen Mary's tiara, which she borrowed from The Queen.
Birmingham-born mum of three Clare was on hand on the steps to make final adjustments to Meghan's gown and veil before handing her into the care of the page boys who showed off the 15 ft veil to such effect.
She said: "I wanted just for her to feel and look amazing.
"It was just an important moment to get all of that right and I thought she just looked spectacular," she said.
