Niger state Governor corrects media house over coronavirus in headline linking to his state

The Niger state governor via his twitter handle has corrected a media house who had tweeted the state has recorded its first case of coronavirus but in the story indicated it was Niger Republic.

Indicating it was misleading and to get his people's mind at rest, the Governor was fast to resond to their tweet, correcting the media house -- it's Niger Republic.

The media house had tweeted; ''BREAKING: Niger Reports First Confirmed COVID-19 Case''.

Responding, the Governor wrote;  Niger Republic!
