Italian model Bragato told Daily Star Online the duo have been exchanging messages since the coronavirus pandemic forced them to stay inside.
Their friendship stretches back years, and the duo were regularly in contact when Lingard was in Russia with England for the 2018 World Cup.
And Bragato, who has recently posed for iconic magazine Playboy, said they have remained in touch since Lingard's season was postponed after the Premier League was put on hold.
Speaking from her home in Venice, Italy, Bragato told Daily Star Online: "I spoke to Jesse yesterday, and he is staying home like the rest of us.
"He is safe. In Italy we are all on lockdown, it's been one month and I really hope everything is going to start again here.
"I am taking care of my self, let the stress go, I do my beauty routine every day I watch movies and cook good Italian food that’s all.
"When it's over, I can't wait to travel. I want to spend my summer in Spain and London."
She previously said of Lingard: "Jesse is a really good guy, down to earth, and amazingly talented at what he does."
Bragato shot to fame in Italy after sharing a range of snaps wearing Serie A jerseys.
This led to her being dubbed the "sexy face of football", and she now commands 385,000 Instagram followers. // <\/s'+'cript>'); // --> //]]> From ICE
