Fulham shocked Everton to a 2-0 home defeat in the Sunday night’s game. Debutant Josh Maja struck a well-worked opener three minutes into the second period, before doubling the visitors’ lead in the 65th minute; Maja reacted to Harrison Reed shot which struck the woodwork.

The team controlled the game from start to finish at Goodison Park, the Toffees (Everton) registered their first shot on target in the 76th minute.

The results builds Fulham’s hope of a great escape as they lifted themselves back to within seven points of safety.

Pierre-Emerick Aubemeyang’s first premier league hat-trick (3 goals in a match by a player) guided Arsenal to a 4-2 victory over Leeds United at Emirates stadium.

The Gabonese has scored more goals in his last four EPL appearances (5) than he had in his previous 16 appearances. The striker put Arsenal ahead in the 13th minute by a subtle 15 yards finish.

He doubled the Gunners’ (Arsenal) lead in the 41st minute from the penalty spot, Leeds United Goalkeeper Illan Meslier fouled Bukayo Saka in the penalty box.

Hector Bellerin increased the lead on the stroke of half-time, scoring his first goal of the season.

Aubemeyang completed his hat-trick in the 47th minute, heading in a cross from Emile Smith Rowe. Leeds pulled two goals back through Pascal Struijk’s header and Helder Costa’s close-range finish.

Manchester United title race finally over?

Fernandes levelled the score line in the second half.If there was any lingering hope that Manchester United might provide a Premier League title challenge ended in their 1-1 draw against West Brom Albion.

Mbaye Diagne gave West Brom the lead after 83 seconds into the game, with David De Gea at the centre of it all.

United’s Bruno Fernandes leveled the scores with a breath-taking equalising goal in the second half, which West Brom Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone couldn’t keep out.

Meanwhile, two matches will be played Monday; Chelsea vs Newcastle and West Ham United vs Sheffield.
