Grammy award winner, Burna Boy has won BET Awards in the Best International Act category for the third time in a row, becoming the first Nigerian and African to achieve this.
Burna Boy was announced as winner of the category at the event which took place on 27th of June 2021.
BET awards was created in 2001 by Black Entertainment Television to celebrate black excellence in music, film, sports and philanthropy.
It would be recalled that Burna Boy won same BET Best International Award (global) in 2019 and 2020.

In this year’s event, the singer was nominated in the category alongside Aya Nakamura (France), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (UK), Wizkid (Nigeria), Young T & Bugsey (UK), Youssoupha (France).
